Photoluminescent NHS Fire Exit Signs

Here at Lasting Impressions, our collection of Photoluminescent NHS Fire Exit Signs have been designed for the healthcare industry. Their specific design is in keeping with NHS regulations and differs slightly from that of British Standard Fire Exit Signs. However, in a similar manner, they clearly identify the closest fire exit route and ensure individuals are able to leave the building swiftly in the event of an emergency. Using easily understood images and symbols, these signs are universally understood and ensure your business is legally compliant with current legislation. Suitable for hospitals, general practices and residential homes.

Each of these signs has been finished with a glow in the dark coating. When exposed to natural or artificial light, they absorb the energy and charge up. If your building suffers from a power cut or in low light environments, they are able to illuminate. The information is then easily read by all while the sign also provides a location marker that individuals can aim for during times of low visibility. The use of universal imagery also makes the signs easy to understand. Symbols including a running man exiting a doorway and billowing flames sit alongside the words 'Fire Exit' and directional arrows. In some of our signs, these images are printed individually and can be placed according to your individual requirements.

Our signs are available in a range of different sizes. They can be manufactured in either self-adhesive vinyl or 1.2mm photoluminescent plastic. Rounded corners and a flat design allows them to be installed flush against most hard surfaces and provides a wipe clean surface. They are also all compliant with current legislation including EN ISO 7010:2012. If you have any questions regarding these glow in the dark signs or any of our other items, do not hesitate to contact our sales team.
